To check your Crouse email on your mobile device, you have two options:

Option 1: Using a Mobile Browser (Requires MFA every login)

  1. Open your preferred web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.).
  2. Navigate to the Microsoft Outlook sign-in page by going to either link below.
  3. Enter your crouse.org or crousemed.com email address and click Next.
  4. Input your password and click Sign In.
  5. Authenticate using the verification number from your Microsoft Authenticator app or by entering the code sent via text. This will happen each login through your phone browser.
    • Important: Microsoft is phasing out text-based authentication. If prompted with a “Protect Your Account” screen, follow the instructions to download and set up the Microsoft Authenticator app.
  6. You’re now in your email inbox!

Option 2: Using the Outlook Mobile App (Requires MFA verification every 90 days when PW is reset)

  1. Download the App:
Install the Microsoft Outlook app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iPhone).
  1. Open the app and select Add Account.
  2. Enter your full email address (crouse.org or crousemed.com).
  3. Input your password.
  4. Authenticate using the Microsoft Authenticator app or input the code sent to you via text. You will have to reauthenticate each time you change your password.
    • Note: As mentioned, text-based authentication is being phased out, so please ensure you have the Microsoft Authenticator app set up.
  5. Once authenticated, you will have access to your inbox.

Notes:

Using the built in default Apple or Android mail apps may result in syncing errors due to our authentication system, so it’s recommended to use the Outlook app or the browser method for the best experience.

Additionally, if you get an error that says: “You Cannot Access This Right Now.” Please open a ticket with the helpdesk who can allow login to email if its your first time signing in outside of the Crouse network.
